Polyester yarn prices rise in Chinese market

Paraxylene (PX) prices moved up in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, PX prices inched up and were offered in the range of US$ 1510/ton to US$ 1515/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were assessed at US$ 1485/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1480/ton to US$ 1485/ton.
 
PTA prices showed an upward trend in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1070/ton to US$ 1075/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were quoted at US$ 1070/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market remained stable and were offered in the range of US$ 1050/ton to US$ 1055/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices moved up and were offered in the range of RMB 7925/ton to RMB 8025/ton.   
 
Ethylene prices showed a stable trend in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1275/ton to US$ 1280/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1235/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices moved down and were offered in the range of 55.00 cents/pound to 55.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained stable in the European international and domestic markets, and were offered at US$ 1350/ton and € 1050/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices surged in Asia. In S E Asian region, MEG prices were offered at US$ 1020/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices rose and were quoted in the range of US$ 1000/ton to US$ 1005/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of RMB 7550/ton to RMB 7600/ton.
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1430/ton to US$ 1480/ton. Some deals were discussed at around US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1440/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers stayed steady between US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1440/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices went up and were offered at RMB 10,300/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1260/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were steady in the range of US$ 1280/ton to US$ 1310/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices were stable in the range of RMB 9675/ton to RMB 9725/ton.
 
PSF prices moved up in Asian market. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1490/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were assessed at US$ 1390/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices increased and were offered in the range of RMB 10325/ton to RMB 10375/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices moved up and were offered at RMB 10,600/ton, RMB 12,275/ton, and RMB 11,100/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY went up and were quoted at US$ 1440/ton, US$ 1670/ton, and US$ 1500/ton, respectively.
