In 2014, The American Quilter’s Society, headquartered in Paducah, Kentucky, will celebrate its 30th anniversary. Expanding its QuiltWeek lineup by offering seven internationally attended quilting events will allow AQS to span more of the country. Chief Operating Officer Richard Louise states, “I am excited that we can bring more QuiltWeek events to more quilters. From east to west, more quilters will be able to join the celebration.”

The new AQS QuiltWeek events will be held in the Southwest–Phoenix, Arizona (February 5 – 8, 2014); the Mid-Atlantic–Charlotte, North Carolina (July 30 – August 2, 2014); and returning to the South in Chattanooga, Tennessee (September 10 – 13, 2014).

Executive Show Director Bonnie Browning says, “We selected the new cities because they have excellent facilities that make it possible to host high-caliber quilting events.” Expanding the AQS 2014 schedule to include seven shows also gives sponsors and vendors an added opportunity to reach new audiences.
