PSF prices fall in Southeast & Fareast Asia

Paraxylene (PX) prices showed a downward trend in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, PX prices declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 1445/ton to US$ 1450/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1420/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market dipped and were offered in the range of US$ 1455/ton to US$ 1460/ton.
 
PTA prices remained stable in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices dropped in the range of US$ 1045/ton to US$ 1050/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1045/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market fell and were offered in the range of US$ 1040/ton to US$ 1045/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices were assessed in the range of RMB 7575/ton to RMB 7625/ton.  
 
Ethylene prices remained unchanged in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1225/ton to US$ 1230/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were quoted at US$ 1180/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices fell and were offered in the range of 59.50 cents/pound to 60.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained steady in the European international and domestic markets, and were quoted at US$ 1295/ton and € 1040/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices showed mixed trend in Asia. In S E Asian region, MEG prices were offered at US$ 1005/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 1000/ton to US$ 1005/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices increased and were offered in the range of RMB 7350/ton to RMB 7400/ton.
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices stayed stable in the range of US$ 1430/ton to US$ 1480/ton and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1440/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers stayed steady between US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1440/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices declined and were quoted at RMB 10075/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1260/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were steady in the range of US$ 1280/ton to US$ 1320/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices declined and were offered in the range of RMB 9450/ton to RMB 9500/ton.
 
PSF prices fell in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1480/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were assessed at US$ 1380/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices dipped and were offered in the range of RMB 10225/ton to RMB 10275/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY decreased and were quoted at RMB 10600/ton, while DTY and FDY prices remained stable and were offered at RMB 12300/ton and RMB 11175/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY declined and were offered at US$ 1445/ton, US$ 1680/ton, and US$ 1520/ton, respectively.
