A World of Gifts

The Gifts & Premium Fair, the largest of its kind in the world, will present the latest gift products of more than 4,100 exhibitors from 37 countries and regions, including first-time participation from Zambia, and 16 group pavilions.

Gift Fair highlights include six new product zones: Boutique Deluxe, featuring such luxury items as gold pens, gemstone globes and high-end cigar boxes; Jewellery Galleria, focusing on corporate jewellery gifts; the Hong Kong New Design Force, showcasing local design talent; Scarfs & Ties; Sunglasses; and Value-for-Money Gifts. The Hall of Fine Designs returns, with such high-end brands as Cerruti 1881, Christopher Vine Design, Kimmidoll, Lexon, SEMK and Swarovski Elements. Also back are the popular World of Gift Ideas, iAccessories, showcasing smartphone and tablet gadgets and accessories, and the Small-Order Zone, presenting more than 300 gift, electronics and houseware products.

Special fair events range from the 27 April Taiwan Design Center’s product launch to 29 April seminars on safety compliance and accreditation, giftware and e-tailing trends. The presentation ceremony of the second Hong Kong Smart Gifts Design Awards will be held on 27 April, with the winning entries will be on display in Hall 5E throughout the fair.

Packaging Business

The eighth edition of the Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair will host 360 exhibitors, including newcomers from the United States and Vietnam, at AsiaWorld-Expo. Highlighted products include high-security anti-counterfeiting labels and advanced RFID systems, as well as luxury packaging and materials at the De Luxe zone.

A series of seminars and symposiums will cover such topical trends as luxury packaging (27 April), upgrading your brand by going green (28 April) and cross-media publishing (29 April). Throughout the fair, the “The Art of Premium @ Harbour City” will showcase 24 elegantly designed collections of red packets made of deluxe paper using high-end printing technology.
