Asian Ethylene & MEG prices show mixed trends

Paraxylene (PX) prices surged in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, PX prices declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 1450/ton to US$ 1455/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1430/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market declined and were offered in the range of US$ 1425/ton to US$ 1430/ton.
 
PTA prices increased in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices rose and were quoted in the range of US$ 1030/ton to US$ 1035/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1030/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market declined and were offered in the range of US$ 1020/ton to US$ 1025/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices were assessed in the range of RMB 7675/ton to RMB 7725/ton.
 
Ethylene prices showed a mixed trend in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1205/ton to US$ 1210/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1120/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained stable and were offered in the range of 59.50 cents/pound to 60.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices declined in the European international and domestic markets, and were quoted at US$ 1250/ton and € 1005/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices showed mixed sentiments in Asia. In S E Asian region, MEG prices were offered at US$ 995/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices decreased and were quoted in the range of US$ 980/ton to US$ 985/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices remained stable and were offered in the range of RMB 7350/ton to RMB 7400/ton.
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1430/ton to US$ 1480/ton and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1440/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were stable between US$ 1380/ton and US$ 1450/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices declined and were quoted at RMB 10025/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained steady in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1260/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were stable in the range of US$ 1280/ton to US$ 1320/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices stayed stable and were offered in the range of RMB 9325/ton to RMB 9375/ton.
 
PSF prices remained stable in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1470/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were assessed at US$ 1370/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices were stable and were offered in the range of RMB 10175/ton to RMB 10225/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY and DTY remained stable at RMB 10600/ton and RMB 12250/ton, respectively, while FDY prices decreased and were offered at RMB 11100/ton. In export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY remainedstable at US$ 1445/ton, US$ 1670/ton, and US$ 1510/ton, respectively.
