Sears recognizes Yunus Textiles as 'Principal Partner'

Yunus Textile Mills Limited, one of country’s leading home textile manufacturers, has been recognized as "Principal Partner - Sheets" for the year 2012-13 by Sears Holdings Corporation, a leading integrated retailer with over 2,600 full-line and specialty retail stores in the United States and Canada. The company bagged the honor for partnering with Sears holding group for developing successful Sheet Shop programs, both for Kmart and Sears.

The award was presented to Yunus at Vendor Recognition Dinner and Award Ceremony recently organized by Sears Holdings in Hong Kong.

Speaking about the achievement, Mr. Nisar Palla, Chief Operating Officer, Yunus Textile Mills Limited said, “We are extremely glad to receive this award from Sears for the first time as direct import supplier through its global sourcing organization. Yunus has been a domestic supplier to Sears for a number of years and entered in to direct import category for the last three years. This is really an achievement to receive such recognition in such a short span of time being a direct import supplier.”

He added, “We hope to build up on this milestone achieved and develop ourselves in to a key manufacturer and supplier for the entire home category with Sears and Kmart just like we have a proven and successful track record with other leading retail giants like Walmart, Carrefour, Target, IKEA, Asda etc.”
