PTA & MEG prices remain stable in Asian region

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, PX prices moved down and were assessed in the range of US$ 1455/ton to US$ 1460/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1435/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market increased and were offered in the range of US$ 1470/ton to US$ 1475/ton.
 
PTA prices remained stable in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1030/ton to US$ 1035/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1030/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market increased and were offered in the range of US$ 1025/ton to US$ 1030/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices were assessed in the range of RMB 7700/ton to RMB 7750/ton.
 
Ethylene prices showed a mixed trend in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1210/ton to US$ 1215/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1080/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices fell and were offered in the range of 59.50 cents/pound to 60.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices decreased in the European international and domestic markets to US$ 1185/ton and € 945/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices remained stable in Asia. In S E Asian region, MEG prices were offered at US$ 990/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 985/ton to US$ 990/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices rose and were offered in the range of RMB 7275/ton to RMB 7325/ton.
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1490/ton and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1430/ton to US$ 1440/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers stayed stable between US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1470/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices increased and were quoted at RMB 10100/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were stable in the range of US$ 1290/ton to US$ 1330/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices inched up and were offered in the range of RMB 9500/ton to RMB 9550/ton.
 
PSF prices remained stable in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1485/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were assessed at US$ 1385/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained stable and were offered in the range of RMB 10225/ton to RMB 10275/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY remained unchanged at RMB 10650/ton, RMB 12250/ton, and 11200/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY stayed stable and were offered at US$ 1460/ton, US$1675/ton, and US$ 1530/ton, respectively.
