Asian PX, PTA & PSF markets fall

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, PX prices fell and were assessed in the range of US$ 1415/ton to US$ 1420/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1395/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market remained stable and were offered in the range of US$ 1445/ton to US$ 1450/ton.
 
PTA prices plunged in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices dipped and were quoted in the range of US$ 1025/ton to US$ 1030/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1025/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market stayed stable and were offered in the range of US$ 1025/ton to US$ 1030/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices increased and were assessed in the range of RMB 7700/ton to RMB 7750/ton.
 
Ethylene prices maintained a stable trend in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1210/ton to US$ 1215/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were quoted at US$ 1080/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices declined and were offered in the range of 54.50 cents/pound to 55.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices were stable in the European international and domestic markets, and were quoted at US$ 1185/ton and € 945/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices showed a mixed trend in Asia. In S E Asian region, MEG prices were quoted at US$ 985/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices stayed stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 985/ton to US$ 990/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices surged and were offered in the range of RMB 7300/ton to RMB 7350/ton. 
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1480/ton and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1450/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers stayed steady between US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1480/ton, while discussions took place in the range of US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1420/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices remained stable and were quoted at RMB 10100/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained steady in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were stable in the range of US$ 1290/ton to US$ 1330/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices plunged and were offered in the range of RMB 9475/ton to RMB 9525/ton.
 
PSF prices declined in Asian markets. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1485/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were offered at US$ 1385/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices kept stable and were quoted in the range of RMB 10225/ton to RMB 10275/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY remained stable at RMB 10650/ton, RMB 12250/ton, and 11200/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY declined and were offered at US$ 1460/ton, US$ 1680/ton, and US$ 1530/ton, respectively.
