Taiwanese PX import prices dip in Asian region

Paraxylene (PX) prices rose in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices increased and were assessed in the range of US$ 1435/ton to US$ 1440/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1415/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market decreased and were offered in the range of US$ 1430/ton to US$ 1435/ton.
 
PTA prices surged in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices increased in the range of US$ 1045/ton to US$ 1050/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1045/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market declined and were offered in the range of US$ 1035/ton to US$ 1040/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices increased and were assessed in the range of RMB 7775/ton to RMB 7825/ton.
 
Ethylene prices showed mixed trend in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1225/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were quoted at US$ 1080/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices grew and were offered in the range of 56.50 cents/pound to 57.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices were stable in the European international and domestic markets, and were quoted at US$ 1185/ton and € 945/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices showed mixed trend in Asia. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices were quoted at US$ 1005/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices were stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 990/ton to US$ 995/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices moved up and were offered in the range of RMB 7425/ton to RMB 7475/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1470/ton and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1450/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers stayed stable between US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1460/ton, while discussion was in the range of US$ 1400/ton and US$ 1410/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices swelled and were quoted at RMB 10125/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained steady in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were stable in the range of US$ 1290/ton to US$ 1330/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable and were offered in the range of RMB 9650/ton to RMB 9700/ton.
 
PSF prices remained stable in Asian markets. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1500/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were offered at US$ 1400/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained stable in the range of RMB 10300/ton to RMB 10350/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY remained stable at RMB 10750/ton, RMB 12250/ton, and RMB 11250/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY remained stable at US$ 1480/ton, US$1680/ton, and 1540/ton, respectively.
