INVISTA, one of the world’s largest integrated producers of fibres and polymers, will be unveiling an exciting extension of its LYCRA BEAUTY fabric platform at Mode City. Building on the success of shaping synthetic-based fabrics in lingerie, delicate lace and fabrics with natural/cellulosic fibres are now available under the LYCRA BEAUTY fabric range of options, responding to a clear consumer desire for shaping with comfort, yet not compromising on elegance and sophistication.

INVISTA is working closely with aspirational brands and garment manufacturers across the globe to showcase the expansion of the LYCRA BEAUTY fabric certification programme “The Science of Shaping” and visitors to the stand will be the first in the world to see the trend-setting capsule collection as well as expert fabric developments from mills worldwide pushing the LYCRA BEAUTY fabrics frontiers.

As well as INVISTA’s leading shapewear platform LYCRA BEAUTY being showcased at the show this July, cutting-edge LYCRA fibre with W technology will be in the spotlight. Based on proven LYCRA fibre polymers, LYCRA fibre with W technology offers durable whiteness retention, improved uniformity and richer colouration all through the same robust processing, fabric properties and wash-fastness you expect from LYCRA fibre. It is ideal for both warp and circular knit fabrics and is the foundation for both whites and fashion colours that last.

Arnaud Ruffin, Segment Leader for Lingerie and Shapewear at INVISTA comments, “We are delighted to extend our LYCRA BEAUTY quality standards to lace and natural base fabrics, now bringing elegance to the ‘sculpting performances + comfort’ equation. Anticipating consumer needs is very important to us at INVISTA and we know from our continual consumer research that comfort and fit rank as priorities. Our LYCRA BEAUTY fabric offering is perfectly suited for women of all ages, shapes and sizes to help them feel beautiful and confident.”

Interfilière visitors will also get a glimpse at the latest in lingerie, shapewear or swimwear fabrics by connecting with leading EMEA mills such as: Boos, Brugnoli, Carvico, Chanty, Dogi, EDA, Elastic, Eurojersey, Feinjersey, Jersey Lomellina, Liebaert, Maglificio Ripa, Penn Textile Solution, Piave Maitex, Salamtex, Willy Hermann or Wegal.

INVISTA continues to lead the fashion industry by regularly updating its innovation portfolio, bringing added value to customers throughout the apparel value chain.
