Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices plunged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1425/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices were assessed at US$ 1400/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market fell and were assessed in the range of US$ 1425/ton to US$ 1430/ton.
 
PTA prices increased in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices surged in the range of US$ 1055/ton to US$ 1060/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1055/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market stayed steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 1045/ton to US$ 1050/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices rose and were offered in the range of RMB 7725/ton to RMB 7750/ton.
 
Ethylene prices stayed unchanged in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1250/ton to US$ 1255/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were quoted at US$ 1110/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices were stable in the range of 61.00 cents/pound to 62.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices kept unchanged in the European international and domestic markets, and were quoted at US$ 1085/ton and € 865/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices showed mixed trend in Asia. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices were offered at US$ 1005/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices remained steady and were offered in the range of US$ 995/ton to US$ 1000/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices remained stable and were offered in the range of RMB 7375/ton to RMB 7425/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained steady in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1460/ton and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1450/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers stayed stable between US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1460/ton, while discussed prices were between US$ 1410/ton and US$ 1420/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices declined and were quoted at RMB 9975/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were stable in the range of US$ 1290/ton to US$ 1330/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices declined and were offered in the range of RMB 9600/ton to RMB 9650/ton.
 
PSF prices declined in Asian markets. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1450/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were offered at US$ 1350/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices dropped and were offered in the range of RMB 10150/ton to RMB 10200/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY declined to RMB 10600/ton, RMB 12250/ton, and RMB 10175/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY increased to US$ 1425/ton, US$ 1645/ton, and US$ 1485/ton, respectively.
