Bolivia, Venezuela sign deal to boost textile cooperation

The Latin American countries of Bolivia and Venezuela have signed an agreement to develop textile sector of both countries, during the Second Meeting of the Joint Integration Commission Bolivia-Venezuela in Bolivian city of Tiquipaya.
 
The agreement to boost textile sector cooperation was among several other agreements signed by Bolivian President Evo Morales and his Venezuelan counterpart Nicolas Maduro, in the context of the agreements of the Bolivian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA).
 
The agreement signed between the two South American countries focuses on strategic issues to promote joint actions for development of the textile sectors of Bolivia and Venezuela.
 
As per the deal, new centers, with facilities to use innovative technologies, will be set up to aid the textile sectors of both countries.
 
The visiting President of Venezuela said the two nations will work towards the set goals and objectives and further cooperate to enhance progress in both countries.
 
He announced that bilateral meetings between Bolivia and Venezuela will be held on a quarterly basis to review the achievements and progress of cooperation and development in the two countries.
 
During the meeting between the two leaders, discussions were also held on various aspects including food, science and technology and political relations.
