PTA prices rise in Chinese domestic market

Paraxylene (PX) prices rose in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1395/ton to US$ 1400/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices were assessed at US$ 1375/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1395/ton.
 
PTA prices surged in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices were stable in the range of US$ 1055/ton to US$ 1060/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1055/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market remained steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 1045/ton to US$ 1050/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices increased and were assessed in the range of RMB 7750/ton to RMB 7800/ton. 
 
Ethylene prices remained stable in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1275/ton to US$ 1280/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were quoted at US$ 1150/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices stayed stable and were quoted in the range of 54.50 cents/pound to 55.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained stable in the European international and domestic markets, and were quoted at US$ 1110/ton and € 905/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices showed mixed trend in Asia. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices were offered at US$ 985/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices plunged and were quoted in the range of US$ 975/ton to US$ 980/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices stayed stable and were assessed in the range of RMB 7300/ton to RMB 7350/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1460/ton and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1450/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers stayed stable between US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1460/ton, while discussion prices were offered between US$ 1410/ton and US$ 1420/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices stayed steady and were quoted at RMB 9950/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were stable in the range of US$ 1290/ton to US$ 1330/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices were stable and were offered in the range of RMB 9525/ton to RMB 9575/ton.
 
PSF prices declined in Asian markets. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1480/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were quoted at US$ 1380/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained stable in the range of RMB 10150/ton to RMB 10200/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY decreased to RMB 10425/ton, RMB 12125/ton, and RMB 10975/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY declined to US$ 1440/ton, US$ 1665/ton, and US$ 1500/ton, respectively.
