Asian PX & PSF prices inch upwards

Paraxylene (PX) prices increased in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices moved up and were quoted in the range of US$ 1435/ton to US$ 1440/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices were assessed at US$ 1415/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market increased and were assessed in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1425/ton. 
 
PTA prices remained steady in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices stayed steady in the range of US$ 1055/ton to US$ 1060/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1055/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1050/ton to US$ 1055/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices stayed steady and were offered in the range of RMB 7725/ton to RMB 7775/ton.
   
Ethylene prices stayed steady in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were offered in the range of US$ 1265/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were quoted at US$ 1150/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained steady and were quoted in the range of 55.00 cents/pound to 55.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices surged in the European international and domestic markets, and were quoted at US$ 1140/ton and € 935/ton, respectively.  
 
MEG prices declined in Asia. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices were offered at US$ 960/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices dropped and were assessed in the range of US$ 960/ton to US$ 965/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices declined and were offered in the range of RMB 6850/ton to RMB 6900/ton. 
 
In the S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices were steady in the range of US$ 1430/ton to US$ 1450/ton, and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1430/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers kept unchanged between US$ 1400/ton to US$ 1440/ton, while talked prices were between US$ 1390/ton and US$ 1410/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices stayed stable and were quoted at RMB 9925/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices fell and were assessed in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1260/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices declined in the range of US$ 1280/ton to US$ 1320/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable and were offered in the range of RMB 9450/ton to RMB 9500/ton.
 
PSF prices surged in Asian markets. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1490/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were quoted at US$ 1390/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained steady and were offered in the range of RMB 10125/ton to RMB 10175/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester DTY and FDY declined to RMB 12050/ton and RMB10800/ton respectively, while prices of POY remained steady at RMB 10475/ton. In the export market, offers for POY and FDY increased to US$ 1455/ton and US$ 1690/ton, respectively, while prices of DTY remained steady at US$ 1670/ton.
