American Textile Company, a leading provider of innovative sleep solutions, announces the appointment of two new marketing leaders: Patrick Seiffert, as vice president of marketing, and Krista Rogan as brand manager for AllerEase.

Seiffert brings significant leadership and consumer marketing experience, having grown businesses across a range of product categories for GlaxoSmithKline's Consumer Healthcare business. Rogan joins AllerEase after a successful career at Bayer Medical Devices where she was responsible for brand strategy and digital marketing.

Seiffert and Rogan join American Textile Company as the company leverages its long and stable history to drive its next phase of growth.  American Textile Company's successful integration of new technologies into its products, combined with an 88-year history of productive customer relationships, consistently delivers innovative sleep solutions to consumers.

With its rapid pace of innovation and adoption of new technologies, the company sees an opportunity to help more consumers sleep better by helping them understand how their brands can make a difference.

"Connecting new technologies to consumers is critically important," commented Blake Ruttenberg, executive vice president of sales, marketing, and product development. "Today consumers demand more from the products they buy in every category, and bedding is no exception. Our AllerEase brand provides an excellent example of how technology, connected to a clear consumer need, provides solutions that truly help consumers while adding value to our customers' business."

As new technology reshapes the bedding category, it is also transforming the way consumers learn and shop.  Traditional retailers offer an experience well-suited to the way consumers shop for bedding products.  Growing online retailers bring a whole new set of opportunities to educate shoppers through the use of social media, reviews, and other tactics.

"This new team brings focus, ambition, and a track record of delivering results in traditional and online channels," Ruttenberg said.  "For consumers seeking improved sleep, our ability to apply the latest advancements in textile technology combined with high impact marketing programs is unmatched, and this will help unlock significant growth for our customers."
