MEG prices surge in Chinese international market

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, PX prices went down and were assessed in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1425/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PX prices were offered at US$ 1405/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market went down and were offered in the range of US$ 1435/ton to US$ 1440/ton.  
    
PTA prices remained stable in the Asian region. In the Southeast Asian market, PTA prices were steady in the range of US$ 1060/ton to US$ 1065/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1060/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market stayed stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 1055/ton to US$ 1060/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices remained stable and were offered in the range of RMB 7625/ton to RMB 7675/ton.   
 
Ethylene prices showed mixed trend in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian market, Ethylene prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1295/ton to US$ 1300/ton. In the Fareast Asian region, Ethylene prices were offered at US$ 1230/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices were stable and were quoted in the range of 57.50 cents/pound to 58.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices were stable in the European international market, while in the domestic market, prices of Ethylene increased and were quoted at US$ 1295/ton and € 1035/ton, respectively.   
 
MEG prices increased in Asia. In the Southeast Asian region, MEG prices surged and were assessed at US$ 985/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices increased and were assessed in the range of US$ 970/ton to US$ 975/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices went up and were assessed in the range of RMB 7195/ton to RMB 7245/ton.         
 
In the Southeast Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1400/ton to US$ 1440/ton and some deals were discussed between US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1410/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, selling offers stayed stable at US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1440/ton, while prices were offered between US$ 1380/ton and US$ 1400/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices stayed steady and were quoted at RMB 9600/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1260/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were steady in the range of US$ 1280/ton to US$ 1320/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices were stable and were assessed in the range of RMB 9350/ton to RMB 9400/ton.
 
PSF prices remained stable in Asian markets. In the Fareast Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1455/ton. In the Southeast Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1355/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices stayed stable and were offered in the range of RMB 9965/ton to RMB 10015/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY, and FDY remained stable at RMB 10350/ton, RMB 12000/ton, and RMB 10500/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY were stable at US$ 1425/ton, US$ 1650/ton, and US$ 1430/ton, respectively.
