Ethylene prices surge in European international market

Paraxylene (PX) prices showed mixed trend in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, PX prices remained steady and were assessed in the range of US$ 1445/ton to US$ 1450/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PX prices were assessed at US$ 1425/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market went up and were assessed in the range of US$ 1450/ton to US$ 1455/ton. 
           
PTA prices declined in the Asian region. In the Southeast Asian market, PTA prices went down in the range of US$ 1060/ton to US$ 1065/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1065/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market increased and were assessed in the range of US$ 1065/ton to US$ 1070/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices surged and were assessed in the range of RMB 7725/ton to RMB 7775/ton.   
 
Ethylene prices followed mixed trend in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian market, Ethylene prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1270/ton to US$ 1275/ton. In the Fareast Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1225/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices declined and were quoted in the range of 54.00 cents/pound to 54.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices surged in the European international market and remained stable in the European domestic market, and were offered at US$ 1305/ton and €1030/ton, respectively.  
   
MEG prices surged in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, MEG prices increased and were offered at US$ 1015/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1010/ton to US$ 1015/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices went up and were quoted in the range of RMB 7375/ton to RMB 7425/ton.         
 
In the Southeast Asian region, BG PET Chips prices were steady in the range of US$ 1400/ton to US$ 1440/ton and some deals were discussed at around US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1410/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, selling offers stayed stable at US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1440/ton, while talked prices were offered between US$ 1380/ton and US$ 1400/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices stayed stable and were assessed at RMB 9800/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1260/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were steady in the range of US$ 1280/ton to US$ 1320/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices declined and were quoted in the range of RMB 9300/ton to RMB 9350/ton.
 
PSF prices surged in Asian markets. In the Fareast Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1470/ton. In the Southeast Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1370/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained steady and were assessed in the rangeof RMB 10015/ton to RMB 10065/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY remained stable at RMB 10350/ton, RMB 11950/ton, and RMB 10425/ton, respectively. In the export market, prices for POY, DTY, and FDY were steady at US$ 1430/ton, US$ 1650/ton, and US$ 1425/ton, respectively.
