PTA prices surge in Southeast Asian market

Paraxylene (PX) prices went up in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, PX prices surged and were offered in the range of US$ 1490/ton to US$ 1495/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1470/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market surged and were offered in the range of US$ 1470/ton to US$ 1475/ton.  
           
PTA prices increased in the Asian region. In the Southeast Asian market, PTA prices went up and were assessed in the range of US$ 1105/ton to US$ 1110/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PTA prices were assessed at US$ 1110/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1095/ton to US$ 1100/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices surged and were offered in the range of RMB 7800/ton to RMB 7850/ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained unchanged in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian market, Ethylene prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1215/ton to US$ 1220/ton. In the Fareast Asian region, Ethylene prices were offered at US$ 1190/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained steady and were quoted in the range of 53.50 cents/pound to 54.0 cents/pound. Ethylene prices were steady in the European international and domestic markets, and were quoted at US$ 1335/ton and €1045/ton, respectively.  
 
MEG prices surged in Asia. In the Southeast Asian region, MEG prices went up and were assessed at US$ 1110/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1075/ton to US$ 1080/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices increased and were offered in the range of RMB 8100/ton to RMB 8150/ton.       
 
In the Southeast Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1430/ton and some deals were discussed at around US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1400/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, selling offers declined at US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1430/ton, while talked prices were offered between US$ 1370/ton and US$ 1390/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices surged and were assessed at RMB 10050/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1250/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices declined and were offered in the range of US$ 1270/ton to US$ 1310/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices surged and were offered in the range of RMB 9400/ton to RMB 9450/ton.
 
PSF prices stayed stable in Asian markets. In the Fareast Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1475/ton. In the Southeast Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1375/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices increased and were offered in the range of RMB 10300/ton to RMB 10350/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices remained unchanged at RMB 10400/ton, RMB 12000/ton, and RMB 10525/ton, respectively. In the export market, prices of POY, DTY, and FDY were stable at US$ 1445/ton, US$ 1665/ton, and US$ 1450/ton, respectively.
