Virtual Blue Wools - innovative new system from James Heal
Aug '13
The James Heal bespoke Blue Wools service has now got even better, with our new ‘virtual samples’.

Developed to eliminate uncertainty, this innovative service allows customers to request sample cards created ‘virtually’ to exact specifications. It then emails the cards, so that they can be printed out and placed in an instrument’s sample holders to ensure that the dimensions, position and number of Blue Wools fit requirements exactly.

At James Heal we understand that not everyone has the same requirements when it comes to test materials. So, at its in-house Test Materials Centre it strives to create flexible product solutions that suit customer needs and save valuable time and money. Its bespoke Blue Wools service is just one of the ways we do this, by offering our customers control of the product. Whether different variations to Standards 1-8, an unusual size of card, or a particular size of Standard is required, then we can help.

Used for light and weathering fastness testing, our Blue Wools are also available by the piece.

It doesn't compromise when it comes to quality, so all of its Blue Wool Standards fully comply with ISO 105-B08 and are supplied to it by DEK (Deutsche Echtheitskommission) - the only institution that possesses the Master Standards for Blue Wools. It only uses OBA free card and offer free certificates of conformity on its website-based system, so that they are available when and where required in an online library.
