PSF prices surge in Fareast Asian market

Paraxylene (PX) prices remained stable in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, PX prices stayed stable and were offered in the range of US$ 1485/ton to US$ 1490/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PX prices were assessed at US$ 1470/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market remained stable and were offered in the range of US$ 1490/ton to US$ 1495/ton.

PTA prices remained stable in the Asian region. In the Southeast Asian market, PTA prices were stable and were offered in the range of US$ 1120/ton to US$ 1125/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PTA prices were assessed at US$ 1125/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market stayed stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 1120/ton to US$ 1125/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices increased and were offered in the range of RMB 7785/ton to RMB 7835/ton.

Ethylene prices showed mixed trend in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian market, Ethylene prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1335/ton. In the Fareast Asian region, Ethylene prices were offered at US$ 1240/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices went up and were offered in the range of 54.50 cents/pound to 55.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices increased in the European international and domestic markets and were assessed at US$ 1430/ton and €1085/ton, respectively.

MEG prices showed mixed trend in Asia. In the Southeast Asian region, MEG prices increased and were offered at US$ 1135/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 1095/ton to US$ 1100/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices increased and were offered in the range of RMB 8325/ton to RMB 8375/ton.

In the Southeast Asian region, BG PET Chips prices increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1480/ton and some deals were discussed at around US$ 1430/ton to US$ 1470/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, selling offers moved up at US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1470/ton, while talked prices were offered between US$ 1430/ton and US$ 1450/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices inched up and were offered at RMB 10175/ton.

In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices went up and were assessed in the range of US$ 1250/ton to US$ 1280/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices surged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1300/ton to US$ 1350/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices increased and were offered in the range of RMB 9625/ton to RMB 9675/ton.

PSF prices went up in Asian markets. In the Fareast Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1510/ton. In the Southeast Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1410/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices were stable and were assessed in the range of RMB 10300/tonto RMB 10350/ton.

In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices were stable at RMB 10500/ton, RMB 12050/ton, and RMB 10575/ton, respectively. In the export market, prices for POY, DTY, and FDY went down at US$ 1450/ton, US$ 1665/ton, and US$ 1450/ton, respectively.
