PSF prices decline in Chinese domestic market

Paraxylene (PX) prices surged in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, PX prices increased and were assessed in the range of US$ 1530/ton to US$ 1535/ton. In the Far East Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1510/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market surged and were assessed in the range of US$ 1515/ton to US$ 1520/ton. 
 
PTA prices increased in the Asian region. In the Southeast Asian market, PTA price increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1080/ton to US$ 1085/ton. In the Far East Asian market, PTA prices were assessed at US$ 1085/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market swelled and were assessed in the range of US$ 1065/ton to US$ 1070/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of RMB 7725/ton to RMB 7775/ton.   
 
Ethylene prices showed a mixed trend in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian market, Ethylene prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1350/ton to US$ 1355/ton. In the Far East Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1215/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained steady and were quoted in the range of 55.00 cents/pound to 55.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices maintained a steady trend in the European international and domestic market, and were assessed at US$ 1430/ton and €1085/ton, respectively. 
 
MEG prices remained stable in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, MEG prices remain unchanged and were offered at US$ 1095/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices surged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1085/ton to US$ 1090/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of RMB 8000/ton to RMB 8050/ton.        
 
In the Southeast Asian region, BG PET Chips prices maintained a steady trend, and were quoted in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1480/ton, and some deals were discussed at around US$ 1430/ton to US$ 1470/ton. In the Far East Asian market, selling offers remain unchanged at US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1470/ton, while talked prices were between US$ 1430/ton and US$ 1450/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices increased and were assessed at RMB 10200/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1250/ton to US$ 1280/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices maintained a steady trend, and were quoted in the range of US$ 1300/ton to US$ 1350/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices remain unchanged, and were quoted in the range of RMB 9600/ton to RMB 9650/ton.
 
PSF prices remained steady in Asian markets. In the Far East Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1520/ton. In the Southeast Asian market, PSF selling prices were assessed at US$ 1420/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices declined and were assessed in the range of RMB 10300/ton to RMB 10350/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY increased at RMB 10750/ton, RMB 12250/ton, and RMB 10800/ton, respectively. In the export market, prices of POY, DTY, and FDY increased and were assessed at US$ 1500/ton, US$ 1705/ton, and US$ 1495/ton, respectively.
