INVISTA is one of the world's largest producers of nylon and spandex. Its innovations in the nylon, spandex, polyester and specialty materials industries play an integral part in items that touch people's lives every day.

It has also created world-renowned trademarks such as LYCRA fiber and COOLMAX fabric, producing valuable product offerings for customers and end consumers.

INVISTA has always focused on investing in R&D to create unique technologies that create business opportunities and long-term value for its customers.

Examples are: LYCRA FUSION fiber for anti-laddering hosiery, new fabric performance standards and technologies such as LYCRA BEAUTY fabric for shapewear or LYCRA SPORT fabric for activewear. Other impactful innovations such as TOUGH MAX LYCRA fabric and LYCRA dualFX fabric are used widely today by leading denim brands.

In 2012 INVISTA made a multi-million dollar investment in a China Textile Research Center next to its QingPu plant to speed the development and application of new fibers, fabrics and garment innovations.

The center offers comprehensive and innovative solutions to customers for almost every major aspect of the pro-duction process, including raw material sourcing, yarn processing, knitting, dyeing and finishing.

INVISTA’s China Textile Research Center is equipped with the BRÜCKNER multi-functional stenter machine for the R&D production of innovative fabrics that are blending natural and/or synthetic fibers together with LYCRA fiber.

Optimizing the performance of LYCRA fiber, fabrics being processed by INVISTA through the BRÜCKNER machine are set in excellent condition of relaxation, heating and cooling, adding easy comfort, freedom of movement, better fit, shape retention as well as drape to the finished garments.

The multifunctional BRÜCKNER stenter at INVISTA is equipped with our vertical chain STAR-DUR. The chain rail is completely maintenance free as all gliding elements are directly mounted onto the chain.

At the same time, fabric waste can be reduced. A combined steam/electro heating is used for heating the machine. The temperature can be adjusted exactly in every half-zone to ensure an absolute uniformity of temperature over the whole length and width of the dryer.

As an owner-run family business BRÜCKNER stands for reliability, quality and a close personal relationship with our customers. We are able to offer products that meet the highest standards of quality while being tailormade to the needs of our customers. At the same time our machines are designed for higher production while using less energy. All this were very important criterias for INVISTA’s final purchasing decision.
