Groz-Beckert Academy creates knowledge platform

Sep '13
Knitting, weaving, felting, tufting and sewing – for decades, Groz-Beckert has been renowned for its high-quality products and services in these sectors of the textile industry. With the Groz-Beckert Academy, a knowledge platform has been created, covers all textile production and joining methods and is without parallel worldwide.

Always up-to-date – the new training modules for 2013
New training courses, specially tailored to the demands of the market and to customers' wishes, are constantly being integrated into the Groz-Beckert Academy program. This year the course "Technical Textiles" is being offered for the first time, and the registration figures make it clear that it has sparked intense interest. The participants in the basics course will gain comprehensive technological expertise as they learn about the rapidly growing sector of technical textiles.

On request, where courses are concerned, Groz-Beckert generally fulfills special wishes as well. Its so-called 'individual training courses' are specially adapted to the needs of customers, and can also be held on their premises and in their own machine parks.

Textile know-how – taught in all the important languages
The Groz-Beckert Academy is characterized by a comprehensive and dynamic training program combined with a flexible approach to individual courses. That is only one aspect of the comprehensive offering, however, because the experienced textile experts who teach at the Groz-Beckert Academy not only do so in German and English – courses in Spanish or Chinese can also be booked. This reflects the importance of these languages on the international textile market.

The Groz-Beckert Academy has succeeded in fulfilling its own high quality standards, and also where knowledge transfer to customers is concerned. In its teaching of skills and know-how regarding textile production methods, the Academy has established itself worldwide as a service provider to the textile sector.
