FG PET Chips prices decline in Chinese market

Paraxylene (PX) prices surged in the Asian region. In the Southeast Asian region, PX prices increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1485/ton to US$ 1490/ton. In the Far East Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1460/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 1475/ton to US$ 1480/ton.      
 
PTA prices stayed steady in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian market, PTA prices remained unchanged and were offered in the range of US$ 1060/ton to US$ 1065/ton. In the Far East Asian market, PTA prices were quoted at US$ 1060/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market surged and were assessed in the range of US$ 1055/ton to US$ 1060/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of RMB 7625/ton to RMB 7675/ton.   
 
Ethylene prices maintained steady trend in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian market, Ethylene prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1395/ton to US$ 1400/ton. In the Far East Asian region, Ethylene prices were offered at US$ 1235/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained steady and were offered in the range of 53.00 cents/pound to 53.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained steady in the European international and domestic markets, and were quoted at US$ 1440/ton and €1115/ton, respectively.     
 
MEG prices stayed steady in the Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, MEG prices were quoted at US$ 1065/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices declined and were offered in the range of US$ 1055/ton to US$ 1060/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of RMB 7775/ton to RMB 7825/ton.
 
In the Southeast Asian region, BG PET Chips prices were stable in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1460/ton, and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1450/ton. In the Far East Asian market, selling offers were steady in the range of US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1450/ton, while talked prices were assessed between US$ 1400/ton and US$ 1440/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices remained stable and were assessed at RMB 9925/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices stayed stable and were offered in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1290/ton to US$ 1340/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices declined and were assessed in the range of RMB 9425/ton to RMB 9475/ton.
 
PSF prices stayed stable in Asian markets. In the Far East Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1500/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were offered at US$ 1400/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices stayed steady and were assessed in the range of RMB 10175/ton to RMB 10225/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY remained unchanged and were quoted at RMB 10500/ton, RMB 12250/ton, and RMB 10650/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY remained steady at US$ 1465/ton, US$ 1705/ton, and US$ 1470/ton, respectively.
