Yesim Tekstil is participating in a project that was started by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality called ‘Online monitoring of wastewater '. The ninth of eight monitoring stations that have been established in other companies was launched at Yesim Textile by the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality.

Mayor Recep Altepe of Bursa visited Yesim Tekstil on the occasion. Yesim Tekstil CEO Senol Sankaya too was present on the occasion.

Mayor Altepe informed that online waste water monitoring stations are being established individually for each factory in Bursa and the ninth station in this direction was established in Yesim Tekstil.”

Altepe further added "Yesim Tekstil already has a existing water treatment plant. We established the station here to observe if the system was operating properly and to show the plant as an example for other companies.”

The online tracking system measures water parameters and instantly transmits the readings to the Ministry of Environment and BUSKI, which prevents companies from polluting the rivers.

Yesim Tekstil CEO Senol Sankaya mentioned that they are producing for many global brands in the world and that they have realized that their main responsibility should be environmental sensitivity. As part of this responsibility, Yesim Tekstil established a treatment plant 12 years ago in the factory.
