Recently, the turnover of all cotton yarn has improved in Chinese markets easing stock pressure for manufacturers. However, the overall market still remains weak compared to previous years and manufacturers have little confidence in the market outlook.

In Shaoxing market, the price of cotton yarn 32s was 27,000 yuan/ton and of 40s was 28,500 yuan/ton. The price of combed yarn 32s was 30,600 yuan/ton, while that of 40s was 32,100 yuan/ton.

The shipments of cotton yarn from textile mills in Jiangsu were slightly better than the previous month. The price of combed 32s cotton yarn was 31,000 yuan/ton, whereas the price of 40s was 33,000 yuan/ton. The price of semi-combed dyed 32s yarn was 29,000 yuan/ton and that of 40s was 30,500 yuan/ton.
