Vietnam gears up for 13th edition of VTG fair on Oct 24

The 13th edition of the international textile and garment equipments fair of Vietnam is set to begin from October 24, 2013 at the Tan Binh Exhibition and Convention Center (TBECC) in Ho Chi Minh City.
 
The Vietnam International Textile and Garment Industry Exhibition, (VTG 2013), is the largest international textile and garment industrial event in the country, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam and the National Trade Fair and Advertising Joint Stock Company (VINEXAD), along with the support of various other organizations, including Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co., Ltd., Paper Communication Exhibition Services and Chan Chao International Co., Ltd.
 
The fair is organized with an objective to offer an opportunity for international companies and organizations to establish new business relations as well as intensify existing business relations with Vietnamese local industries.
 
The Association of Garments, Textiles, Embroidery and Knitting (AGTEK) of the country would host the Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC EXPO) program in the garment sector under the same event. Within the program the AGTEK will also be organizing a business to business (B2B) meeting as well as a workshop during the VTG 2013. 
 
The AGTEK would also organize a seminar for where textile and apparel industrialists would get the opportunity to discuss and debate regarding the current trends as well as the latest leading techniques and technologies which have been introduced in the textile and garment sector.
 
Exhibitors under the textiles sector would be showcasing various products such as textile machinery and accessories, spinning machinery and accessories, looms, yarn processing machinery and accessories, weaving machinery and accessories, bleaching and washing machines, as well as chemicals and dyes, steaming machinery, cloth processing machinery and accessories, embroidery equipment, knitting machinery, auxiliary equipment, testing equipment and controls, winding machines, and textile screen printing machinery.
 
Under the apparel sector exhibitors would display products such as apparel machinery and accessories, cutting and laying machines, knives/scissors grinding machines, garment accessories, ironing and steaming equipment, sewing machines and parts—industrial and households, laundry machinery and accessories, as well as dry-cleaning equipment.
