Textile Waste Diversion Inc. is honored to have received the 2013 GOLD Program Operator Award from the Recycling Council of Ontario. The award is presented to waste diversion program operators, recyclers and processors involved in residential or IC&I collection and/or processing that have demonstrated leadership and innovation in waste diversion.

Receiving this honor from the Recycling Council of Ontario shows that, in spite of resistance from some members of the textile recycling industry, TWD has been helping to move the industry in the right direction.

The Recycling Council of Ontario Annual Gala is the pinnacle of Waste Reduction Week in Canada, where the RCO recognizes organizations achieving results in waste reduction.

"In recent years, TWD Inc. has made a significant shift towards adopting new green economy standards," said Daniela Siggia, Director of Operations for TWD Inc. "We are thrilled to be recognized as a leader and innovator in our field."

This award further strengthens our commitment that in 2014 in Ontario, TWD will make it even more simple and convenient to recycle textile waste.

Textile Waste Diversion Inc. is a family owned and operated business that is leading the way in the textile waste diversion industry, building a community driven, green future.
