The establishment of this new textile plant is a demonstration of the efforts taken up by the Macedonian Government for the development of the sector in the region which would be beneficial in both national as well as local terms, he added.

Mr. Stavreski said the Government would ensure further development of the textile sector by collaborating with proper investors, which would result into real solutions, investments and which would create more jobs for the people of the region.

According to the Finance Minister, the Government would continue to assist the private sector and help investors in achieving their plans.

Valandovo Mayor Nikolce Curlinovski said the investment from Dokatekstil confirmed that Rabrovo industrial zone was the municipality's capital project, and the new production plant of the company is an outstanding contribution towards the fight against unemployment in the area.
