According to a statement issued by PRO KNIT, the director said textile industry of the country has been facing tough times with negative activity in terms of exports, as between January to September 2013, textile exports from Argentina declined by 2.3 percent year-on-year.

During the convention, Marco Meloni, president of PRO KNIT, advocated the need to establish an administration to remove the ‘slave labor’ that prevails in the textiles sector of the country.
