Bhiwandi’s textile industry associations comprising of Halari Weavers Association, Bhiwandi Processors Association, Sizing Owners Association, Sonale Weavers Association, Padmanagar Weavers Association, Bhiwandi Textile Manufacturers Association, Bhiwandi Weavers Federation, SASMA have appreciated the first-of-its kind initiative to have an international textile machinery exhibition in the textile city in a meeting at SASMIRA Powerloom Service Centre’s conference hall.
The associations have agreed to extend their wholehearted support to ITMACH 2014 exhibition and put forwarded their suggestions to make the event successful.
“Bhiwandi has a growing textile industry and as it is taking up rapid modernization to remain competitive, the need of such event in the city has been felt for some time now. Also, in spite of being a leading textile manufacturing hub, Bhiwandi has not got its due share of importance.
“Such event will bring focus to Bhiwandi’s textile industry and help exchange of ideas and adoption of technology” said Manchhalal K Jain, a noted industrialist and promoter of Shree Daksh Jyot Silk Mills.
The associations expressed that the ITMACH 2014 exhibition will have large visitation as Bhiwandi being connected well with other textile hubs for business as well as its proximity to India’s commercial capital Mumbai.
