Luthai has identified the western markets, specifically the United States, as its main target. The move to the Garment District at 1450 Broadway, places the company in a position to service current clients, respond to new opportunities, and expand relationships with its US customer base. The company’s Sales & Marketing and Research & Development groups will open the office under the direction of General Manager Liu Zibin.
“Outstanding service and wide-ranging application know-how have made Luthai a preferred partner for our customers, especially in the US. Our US clients are an integral part of the Company’s success, and critical to our long term growth strategy. The New York office is an important part of our commitment to product development and service,” said Liu Zibin.
Current customers include notable brands: Brooks Brothers, Marks & Spencer, Olymp, PVH, Li & Fung and Macy’s. The company recently developed the Arrow SuperluxeTheStitchless Shirt, the first shirt engineered with fused seams and no stitches.
Luthai currently operates offices in ShanDong, Shanghai, Hong Kong and recently opened a design center in Milan. With 35% market share, the US represents Luthai’s largest global market, making it a logical and strategic decision to open office in New York City.
On Wednesday, January 8th 2014, Luthai Textile Company will host a select group of VIPs for a ceremonial Ribbon Cutting event at the Waldorf Astoria’s Vanderbilt Room, where the company will formally announce its plans to open its first US offices (cooperation) in New York City later in spring 2014. In honor of the occasion, a delegation of Luthia’s high ranking executives, including General Manager Liu Zibin, will attend the event to meet with clients and members of the fashion community.
