“The cracker will be shut down for maintenance in February 2014, and it is likely to remain off-stream for around 70 days,” a company official told fibre2fashion.

Located in Linyuan, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, the cracker has an ethylene production capacity of 720,000 mt/year.

“The cracker is presently running at 100 percent operating rate,” informed the official.
