Maison d'Exceptions to be held from Feb 18-20

For the third session of this exclusive event, Première Vision - the world's premier fabric show - and Modamont - the international show of accessories and components for fashion and design - are once again joining forces from 18 - 20 February 2014.

Accessible only by invitation, Maison d'Exceptions, located within Première Vision in Hall 6 of the Parc d’Expositions Paris Nord-Villepinte, this year presents a selection from 19 workshops and artists - French, Italian, Japanese and Belgian - including 6 new companies. Each of them has and continues to develop a mastery of contemporary, folk or ancestral techniques.

This expanding offer - there were 16 companies in February 2013 - is focused on notions of know-how and ultra-creativity.

A unique space, an invitation to differentiation

The goal of Maison d’Exceptions is to provide international visibility and an opportunity  to develop business opportunities to workshops focused on textile and accessory production and manufacturing techniques that are rare, traditional (artisanal techniques) or innovative (cutting-edge technology), for high-end fashion brands and designers looking for unique pieces, special know-hows or limited series.
