PX prices decrease in SE and FE Asian markets

Paraxylene (PX) prices decreased in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices declined and were offered in the range of US$ 1295/ton to US$ 1300/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices dropped and were assessed at US$ 1270/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1305/ton to US$ 1310/ton.
 
PTA prices maintained steady trend in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices were stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 955/ton to US$ 960/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices kept unchanged and were quoted at US$ 955/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market remained steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 950/ton to US$ 955/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices kept steady in the range of RMB 6700/ton to RMB 6750/ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained steady in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices kept inert and were assessed in the range of US$ 1405/ton to US$ 1410/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices kept steady and were quoted at US$ 1400/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices decreased and were assessed in the range of 55.50 cents/pound to 56.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices kept inert in European international as well as domestic markets and were quoted at US$ 1265/ton and € 950/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices were stable in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices remained steady and were offered at US$ 1010/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices remained stable in the range of US$ 995/ton to US$ 1000/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices remained steady and were quoted in the range of RMB 7250/ton to RMB 7280/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained steady in the range of US$ 1360/ton to US$ 1400/ton, and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1350/ton to US$ 1370/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers were quoted in the range of US$ 1360/ton to US$ 1390/ton, while talked prices were offered between US$ 1340/ton and US$ 1370/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices stayed steady at RMB 9025/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 1180/ton to US$ 1210/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1280/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices kept steady in the range of RMB 9000/ton to RMB 9050/ton.
 
PSF prices remained steady in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1520/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were quoted at US$ 1420/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices kept inert and were offered in the range of RMB 9625/ton to RMB 9675/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices remained steady and were quoted at RMB 9550/ton, RMB 11400/ton and RMB 10200/ton, respectively. In the export market, POY, DTY, and FDY prices were unchanged at US$ 1335/ton, US$ 1595/ton, and US$ 1420/ton, respectively.
