MEG prices decline in Chinese domestic market

Paraxylene (PX) prices decreased in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices plunged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1310/ton to US$ 1315/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices declined and were assessed at US$ 1290/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market dropped and were quoted in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1325/ton.
 
PTA prices remained stable in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices remained steady and were assessed in the range of US$ 950/ton to US$ 955/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA price kept unchanged and were offered at US$ 950/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market dropped and were quoted in the range of US$ 945/ton to US$ 950/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices declined and were assessed in the range of RMB 6550/ton to RMB 6600/ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained steady in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were unchanged and were quoted in the range off US$ 1385/ton to US$ 1390/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices remained steady and were offered at US$ 1400/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained steady and were assessed in the range of 51.50 cents/pound to 52.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices kept inert in the European international as well as domestic markets and were assessed at US$ 1215/ton and € 945/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices declined in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG price dipped to US$ 975/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 975/ton to US$ 980/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG price declined and was assessed in the range of RMB 7000/ton to RMB 7050/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips remained steady in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1360/ton, and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1370/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers were quoted in the range of US$ 1340/ton to US$ 1380/ton, while talked prices were assessed between US$ 1330/ton and US$ 1360/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices increased and were offered in the range of RMB 8900/ton to RMB 8925/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 1150/ton to US$ 1180/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were offered in the range of US$ 1200/ton to US$ 1250/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices declined and were offered in the range of RMB 8700/ton to RMB 8750/ton.
 
PSF prices remained steady in Asian markets. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1515/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were quoted at US$ 1415/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices declined and were offered in the range of RMB 9500/ton to RMB 9550/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices stayed stable and were quoted at RMB 9550/ton, RMB 11350/ton and RMB 10150/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY kept steady and were quoted at US$ 1330/ton, US$ 1585/ton, and US$ 1405/ton, respectively.
