The Russian federal subject of Tatarstan’s capital city Kazan is all geared up to host the 25th edition of the specialized textile and light industry exhibition ‘Fashion and Style—Kazan Spring’ from March 6 to 10, 2014, at the Kazan Exhibition Center.
Organized by Kazan Fairs under the patronage of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan (RT) and the Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industry of Tatarstan, the five-day fair would see participation from textile, garments and leather manufacturers from Russia and Belarus showcasing the latest spring/summer 2014 collections.
The fair is held with the objective of promoting the domestic textile and apparel enterprises operating in the Russian Federal District of Volga, and providing the textile and garment entrepreneurs from the region an opportunity to establish contacts with entrepreneurs from other parts of Russia as well as Belarus.
More than 150 exhibitors from Russia and Belarus would be showcasing latest and innovative textile, apparel and leather products during the five-day fair, which is expected to attract around 12,000 visitors.
A special business delegation from Turkey representing the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) would also be participating at the fair with the aim of establishing trade contacts with Russian and Belarusian counterparts in various sectors including textiles and textile machineries, apparel and leather.
Exhibitors at the event would present clothing and footwear for men, women and children, headgear, fur and leather products, clothing accessories, fabrics, textile and leather haberdashery, as well as home textiles.
As part of the event, the Ministry would be organizing several business meetings and seminars for entrepreneurs of the Volga district to exchange ideas and information regarding the latest trends in the textile and light industry.
