PTA prices fall in Chinese domestic market

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices plunged and were offered in the range of US$ 1180/ton to US$ 1185/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices decreased and were quoted at US$ 1160/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market dropped and were assessed in the range of US$ 1200/ton to US$ 1205/ton.
 
PTA prices remained steady in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices remained stable in the range of US$ 885/ton to US$ 890/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices remained steady and were assessed at US$ 885/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 880/ton to US$ 885/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices fell and were offered in the range of RMB 6125/ton to RMB 6175/ton.
 
Ethylene prices showed mixed sentiments in Asia. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices declined and were offered in the range off US$ 1455/ton to US$ 1460/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices remained steady and were assessed at US$ 1445/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained stable in the range of 52.50 cents/pound to 53.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices stayed steady in European international and domestic markets at US$ 1230/ton and € 915/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices kept inert in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices were steady and were offered at US$ 915/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices kept unchanged and were quoted in the range of US$ 905/ton to US$ 910/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices remained stable in the range of RMB 6600/ton to RMB 6650/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips remained steady in the range of US$ 1260/ton to US$ 1300/ton, and some deals were offered in the range of US$ 1270/ton to US$ 1310/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers remained steady and were assessed at US$ 1280/ton to US$ 1320/ton, while talked prices were offered between US$ 1290/ton to US$ 1330/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices declined and were quoted in the range of RMB 8450/ton to RMB 8550/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices stayed stable in the range of US$ 1100/ton to US$ 1140/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1160/ton to US$ 1210/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices declined and were quoted in the range of RMB 7900/ton to RMB 7950/ton.
 
PSF prices kept inert in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1495/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were offered at US$ 1395/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices declined and were assessed in the range of RMB 8825/ton to RMB 8875/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices kept inert and were quoted at RMB 8900/ton, RMB 10900/ton and RMB 9400/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY were steady at US$ 1215/ton, US$ 1495/ton, and US$ 1275/ton, respectively.
