CMC reveals dates for Select & Transit shows

SELECT Contemporary Tradeshow and TRANSIT Footwear & Accessories Show, presented in conjunction with every LA Fashion Market at the California Market Center (CMC), will take place Monday–Wednesday, June 9–11, 2014 during the Fall II/Holiday '14 Market, and Monday–Wednesday, August 4–6, 2014 during the Holiday/Resort '14 Market. 
 
For both June and August Shows, SELECT Contemporary Tradeshow will be held in the Fashion Theater located in the Main Lobby of the CMC from 9a-5p Monday and Tuesday, and 9a-4p Wednesday; meanwhile, TRANSIT Footwear & Accessories Show will be running concurrently, in the B wing of the 13th Floor Penthouse, from 10a-5p Monday and Tuesday, and 10a-4p Wednesday. 
 
Oscar Ben Rodriguez, Senior Trade Shows Manager at the CMC, explains the decision to go back to a Monday start date. “Due to a busy show schedule in June and August for both buyers and exhibitors, we decided to move our dates forward to facilitate their participation,” says Rodriguez.

Frederic & Co and many more. 
 
SELECT Contemporary Tradeshow is the CMC's curated showcase of premium and contemporary apparel, accessories and footwear brands for LA Fashion Market. 
 
Recent exhibitors have included a mix of notable emerging LA-based brands, as well as established labels from the East Coast, Europe and Japan, including Milti Puce, Elliot Label, Leslie Francesca, Isabel de Pedro, Krysia Renau, Oblique, Deepa Gurnani, T. Tandon, Marcia Moran Jewelry, Gillian Julius, Streets Ahead, Aspiga, Ficcare, Magaschoni, Nothern Cobbler, Lines of Denmark, More Lillim Than Eve, Look from London, Jolie Altman, By Lilla, Kim & Zozi, Nik Stone, Enzo Angiolini, Theia Jewelry, and many more. 
 
TRANSIT Footwear & Accessories Show is Los Angeles' longest running dedicated footwear tradeshow, catering to the fashion boutiques and better retailers attending LA Fashion Market, as well as specialty footwear retailers. 
 
TRANSIT's roster of lines includes an edited showcase of the fashion footwear industry's top brands, in a range of price points, including BCBG MaxAzria, Betsey Johnson, Charles by Charles David, Chinese Laundry, Cole Haan, Corso Como, DV by Dolce Vita, Ella Moss, Grey City, Jeffrey Campbell, Jessica Simpson, Lou Earl, Lucky Brand, Modern Vice, Seychelles, Steve Madden, Vince Camuto, Trask, Walk Over and many more.
