Ethylene prices rise marginally in Southeast Asian region

Paraxylene (PX) prices maintained steady trend in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 1225/ton to US$ 1230/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices kept unchanged and were offered at US$ 1210/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market increased and were offered in the range of US$ 1225/ton to US$ 1230/ton.
 
PTA prices decreased in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices decreased and were quoted in the range of US$ 895/ton to US$ 900/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices declined and were quoted at US$ 895/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market stayed stable inert and were quoted in the range of US$ 895/ton to US$ 900/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices dropped marginally and were offered in the range of RMB 6200/ton to RMB 6250/ton.
 
Ethylene prices showed mixed trend in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices surged marginally and were quoted in the range of US$ 1430/ton to US$ 1435/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices remained steady and were offered at US$ 1370/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices kept inert and were offered in the range of 51.00 cents/pound to 51.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained steady in the European international as well as in domestic markets and were offered at US$ 1180/ton and € 870/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices remained unchanged in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices remained steady and were quoted at US$ 945/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices kept inert and were quoted in the range of US$ 935/ton to US$ 940/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices remained steady in the range of RMB 6700/ton to RMB 6770/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips remained steady in the range of US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1370/ton, and some deals were assessed in the range of US$ 1340/ton to US$ 1380/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers stayed stable in the range of US$ 1350/ton to US$ 1390/ton, while talked prices were offered between US$ 1360/ton and US$ 1400/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices declined marginally and were offered in the range of RMB 7925/ton to RMB 8825/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 1160/ton to US$ 1200/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1260/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices kept unchanged and were quoted in the range of RMB 8225/ton to RMB 8275/ton.
 
PSF prices stayed steady in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1480/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were quoted at US$ 1380/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices were stable in the range of RMB 8825/ton to RMB 8875/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices were stable at RMB 9150/ton, RMB 11050/ton and RMB 9600/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY remained steady at US$ 1235/ton, US$ 1500/ton, and US$ 1290/ton, respectively.
