PX prices show varied trend in Asian markets

Paraxylene (PX) prices showed varied trend in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices decreased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1215/ton to US$ 1220/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices surged and were quoted at US$ 1205/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market remained steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 1225/ton to US$ 1230/ton.
 
PTA prices kept inert in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices remained steady and were offered in the range of US$ 890/ton to US$ 895/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices remained unchanged and were quoted at US$ 890/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 890/ton to US$ 895/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices increased and were quoted in the range of RMB 6275/ton to RMB 6325/ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained steady in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, Ethylene prices kept unchanged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1430/ton to US$ 1435/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices remained steady and were assessed at US$ 1370/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained steady and were offered in the range of 52.00 cents/pound to 52.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices were stable in European international and domestic markets and were quoted at US$ 1180/ton and € 870/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices decreased in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices declined and were quoted at US$ 925/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices stayed stable and were offered in the range of US$ 925/ton to US$ 930/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices maintained steady trend and were in the range of RMB 6700/ton to RMB 6770/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips remained steady in the range of US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1370/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1340/ton to US$ 1380/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers remained stable in the range of US$ 1350/ton to US$ 1390/ton, while talked prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1360/ton to US$ 1400/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices kept steady and were offered in the range of RMB 7925/ton to RMB 8825/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 1160/ton to US$ 1200/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1260/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices kept unchanged and were offered in the range of RMB 8225/ton to RMB 8275/ton.
 
PSF prices remained steady in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1480/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were assessed at US$ 1380/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices were stable in the range of RMB 8825/ton to RMB 8875/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices kept steady and were quoted at RMB 9200/ton, RMB 10800/ton and RMB 9600/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY remained stable at US$ 1245/ton, US$ 1465/ton, and US$ 1290/ton, respectively.
