PSF prices decline in Asian region

Paraxylene (PX) prices maintained steady trend in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices kept inert and were quoted in the range of US$ 1185/ton to US$ 1190/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices remained stable and were assessed at US$ 1165/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market stayed steady and were assessed in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1195/ton.
 
PTA prices remained steady in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices kept unchanged and were quoted in the range of US$ 870/ton to US$ 875/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices remained steady and were assessed at US$ 870/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market declined and were offered in the range of US$ 865/ton to US$ 870/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices dropped and were assessed in the range of RMB 6100/ton to RMB 6125/ton.
 
Ethylene prices stayed stable in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices remained steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 1460/ton to US$ 1465/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices kept unchanged and were assessed at US$ 1385/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices increased and were quoted in the range of 57.00 cents/pound to 57.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained stable in European international as well as domestic markets and were assessed at US$ 1155/ton and € 855/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices were stable in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices remained steady and were quoted at US$ 910/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices surged and were assessed in the range of US$ 900/ton to US$ 905/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices increased and were offered in the range of RMB 6650/ton to RMB 6700/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 1340/ton to US$ 1380/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1350/ton to US$ 1390/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers fell marginally and were in the range of US$ 1360/ton to US$ 1400/ton, while talked prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1370/ton to US$ 1410/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices declined and were offered in the range of RMB 8150/ton to RMB 8200/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 1160/ton to US$ 1200/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1260/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of RMB 8200/ton to RMB 8250/ton.
 
PSF prices declined in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1410/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were quoted at US$ 1310/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices inched down and were assessed in the range of RMB 8500/ton to RMB 8550/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices remained unchanged and were quoted at RMB 9250/ton, RMB 10900/ton and RMB 9575/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY remained steady at US$ 1240/ton, US$ 1465/ton, and US$ 1275/ton, respectively.
