BG PET Chips prices move up in Chinese market

Paraxylene (PX) prices increased in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices surged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1215/ton to US$ 1220/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices increased and were quoted at US$ 1195/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market surged and were offered in the range of US$ 1180/ton to US$ 1185/ton.
 
PTA prices increased in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices surged and were assessed in the range of US$ 865/ton to US$ 870/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices rose and were assessed at US$ 860/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market remained steady and were assessed in the range of US$ 850/ton to US$ 855/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices kept inert and were assessed in the range of RMB 5975/ton to RMB 6025/ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained steady in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices kept inert and were assessed in the range of US$ 1460/ton to US$ 1465/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices kept steady and were offered at US$ 1375/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices moved down and were quoted in the range of 54.50 cents/pound to 55.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices kept unchanged in the European international as well as in domestic markets and were quoted at US$ 1205/ton and € 885/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices increased in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices surged and were quoted at US$ 905/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices remained stable in the range of US$ 880/ton to US$ 885/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices remained steady in the range of RMB 6550/ton to RMB 6600/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips stayed stable in the range of US$ 1340/ton to US$ 1380/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1350/ton to US$ 1390/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers remained steady in the range of US$ 1360/ton to US$ 1400/ton, while talked prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1370/ton to US$ 1410/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices increased and were quoted in the range of RMB 8250/ton to RMB 8300/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 1160/ton to US$ 1200/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were offered in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1260/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices were stable in the range of RMB 7800/ton to RMB 7850/ton.
 
PSF prices remained steady in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1410/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were quoted at US$ 1310/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained stable in the range of RMB 8600/ton to RMB 8650/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices kept steady and were quoted at RMB 8900/ton, RMB 10700/ton and RMB 9300/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY stayed stable at US$ 1190/ton, US$ 1440/ton, and US$ 1240/ton, respectively.
