Archroma announced that they have acquired 49% of the shares of M. Dohmen SA.  Over 40 years in existence, M. Dohmen has developed into a leading specialist in the production and marketing of textile dyes and chemicals for the automotive, carpet and apparel sectors.

M. Dohmen’s production capabilities, product portfolio and competitive positioning allows it to be active in important textile sectors, particularly the automotive industry, where they have gained a reputation as a leading innovator and reliable partner.

M. Dohmen serves textile markets worldwide from production facilities in Switzerland, Germany and Korea, and maintains sales organizations in the USA and Italy.

Archroma and M. Dohmen share the same commitment to customer focus, innovation, world-class quality standards, high service levels, cost-efficiency and sustainability.

“M. Dohmen is a perfect partner for us. They bring complementary strengths particularly in the areas of dyes for synthetic fibers and wool and they are clearly a leading partner for the global automotive industry.” comments Thomas Winkler, President of Textile Specialties at Archroma.

“Archroma has been able to preserve its service-oriented approach to the textile industry while growing into a global leader. Our partnership will allow us to broaden our product portfolio and develop new markets, especially in Asia and Latin America.” adds Manfred Dohmen, CEO of M. Dohmen.

Both companies will continue to operate independently. Customers, suppliers and partners will continue to keep the same contact points and representatives.
