“Intertextile Pavilion Shenzhen is the primary channel in the region for us to publicise our items to various brands, buyers and agencies.” The company, which focuses mainly on fabrics for ladieswear, incorporates European fashion trends and functionality into their products, something they believe will suit the culture and climate of Southern China. Another Korean firm, attending the fair for the first time this year, is Yesung Textile International which produces a range of cotton fabrics for outerwear and trousers. When asked about the reasons for attending the fair, Mr Eum Sung- IL, President of the company responded: “Shenzhen is one of the biggest cities for the design and manufacture of garments. It is a hub for Hong Kong, Macau and Southeast Asia, so with such a huge market we believe there is a big need for a range of different fabrics suppliers.”
