The issue in dispute is the employers’ final wage offer of 6.5%. Our members are demanding a 9.5% wage increase. Wage increases are due on 1 July 2014.

It has referred its formal dispute to the National Textile Bargaining Council and now await on the date for the conciliation meeting.
