The 2nd annual Korean Textile and Fabric Showcase 2014; a highly anticipated event hosted by Korea International Trade Association (KITA), makes its return through both the online and physical New York City showrooms once again.

Followed by the huge success from last year’s event, the Korean Textile and Fabric Showcase 2014 will once again enable buyers of garments & home textiles, designers, product development teams, merchandisers and sourcing professionals to gain exclusive and direct access to 13 of the top textile and fabric suppliers from Korea along with their high quality product lines for potential future business opportunities.

Korean textile suppliers’ continuous research and development of new textiles, colors, and patterns having been feeding the steady demand in the U.S market. Furthermore, KORUS, the recent Free Trade Agreement between Korea and U.S. began to eliminate custom duties on textile products from Korea, where the number of qualifying textiles has increased even more in 2014.

“The goal of our events is to continue the growth as well as becoming an important component of the supply chain for the U.S. fashion and home textile industries,” said Kim. “Moving away from the more traditional trade show strategies; we were able to realize the success and effectiveness of this type of event last year which made the continuation of the Korean Textile & Fabric Showcase this year not only logical, but a necessity in promoting excellent Korean textiles.”

The virtual exhibition is open to participants from all over the U.S. from June 25, 2014 to July 11, 2014. The physical New York Showroom runs from June 26, 2014 to July 3, 2014.
