Global MEG trends stay almost stable this week

Mono Ethylene Glycol (MEG) prices were almost stable in the global market in this week due to sluggish buying sentiments.
In the last week ending 28th June, prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1000-1030/ton in India, while prices remained almost steady in this week at US$ 1000-1025/ton.
In China, prices were assessed at US$ 990-1025/ton in the last week and they were hovering around the same levels in this week.
In European domestic market, selling offers kept inert due to mute buying sentiments and were quoted in the range of US$ 800/ton to US$ 805/ton.
In the U.S.A market, selling offers remained steady and were offered in the range of 44.50 cents/pound to 45.00 cents/pound.
MEGlobal nominated its July MEG contract prices for Asian markets at US$ 1130/ton. This price represents an increase of US$ 50/ton from June levels.
