FG PET Chips prices decline in Chinese market

Paraxylene (PX) prices dropped in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 1355/ton to US$ 1360/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices plunged and were offered at US$ 1340/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market kept inert and were quoted in the range of US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1385/ton.
 
PTA prices declined in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices decreased and were offered in the range of US$ 1010/ton to US$ 1015/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices fell to US$ 990/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market kept stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 995/ton to US$ 1000/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices decreased and were assessed in the range of RMB 7350/ton to RMB 7400/ton.
 
Ethylene prices showed varied trend in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 1450/ton to US$ 1455/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices surged and were quoted at US$ 1435/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices kept unchanged and were quoted in the range of 55.00 cents/pound to 55.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained stable in the European international as well as in domestic markets and were quoted at US$ 1320/ton and € 1050/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices stayed stable in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices remained steady and were assessed at US$ 995/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices declined and were offered in the range of US$ 995/ton to US$ 1000/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices were stable in the range of RMB 7350/ton to RMB 7400/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips remained steady in the range of US$ 1370/ton to US$ 1410/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1420/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers kept steady at US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1430/ton, while talked prices were offered in the range of US$ 1400/ton to US$ 1440/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices remained steady and were assessed in the range of RMB 9625/ton to RMB 9675/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices kept stable and were offered in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1230/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were in the range of US$ 1250/ton to US$ 1280/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices declined and were quoted in the range of RMB 9400/ton to RMB 9450/ton.
 
PSF prices remained steady in the Asian region.  In the F E Asian market, PSF prices remained steady at US$ 1460/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices remained stable at US$ 1360/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices kept stable and were assessed in the range of RMB 10050/ton to RMB 10100/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY remained stable at RMB 10350/ton, while DTY and FDY prices decreased to RMB 11650/ton and RMB 10450/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY remained steady at US$ 1415/ton, whereas prices of DTY and FDY declined to US$ 1590/ton and US$ 1415/ton, respectively.
