At 230 Fifth Avenue, six new home textiles showrooms will debut for the summer market. Newcomers include: Bellino Fine Linens, a supplier of exquisite luxury linens for the bed, bath and table; Triple Luxe Gallery, showcasing leading brands in bath, gifts, home textiles, tabletop and more; JT Rose & Co., an importer of mirrors, trays, vases and unique accents; Peacock Alley, a prominent supplier of luxury bed and bath linens; SFERRA Fine Linens, a leader in luxury for the bed, bath, and table; and Tessitura Toscana Telerie USA, Inc., an Italian supplier of exclusive and exquisite luxury linens. These newcomers join a robust tenant roster which includes notable home fashions suppliers such as CGG Home Fashions, Designers Guild, EKE USA, Indigo Home, Nancy Koltes, Signoria Di Firenze and Yves Delorme.

Beyond exhibits, Home Textiles Market Week will showcase the third annual “Open House” display, which features home products – from materials and color to commerce and branding – reflective of four key 2014-15 trend areas: Brass Tactics; Straight Out of Gibraltar; Prints Charming; and Lakeside Living.  The exhibit, which is presented cooperatively by NY NOW and media partner Progressive Business Media, publishers of Gifts and Decorative Accessories, Home Accents Today and Home & Textiles Today, and color, trend and e-commerce partner One Kings Lane, will be presented at NY NOW, from Saturday, August 16 through Wednesday, August 20, in the Javits Center North Concourse.

Among highlights of the Market’s wide range of educational offerings is “Color Forecast: 2014 and Beyond,” which will be hosted by the New York City Chapter of the International Furnishings & Design Association (IFDA) on August 18.  The 90-minute session will present insights into trending colors, and the inspirations and influences forming the looks for the coming seasons.

DJ Carey, Cottages & Gardens editorial director, will explore color trends and examine how colors influence consumer well-being, purchasing and interior design; Renee Hytry Derrington, Group VP Design for Formica Group and Laminex Group creative director at Formica, will present TREND VISION 2014, color and style observations on the world and major exhibitions.
